Your Search on Google is Landing Nowhere Beneficial, WHY?

Are you getting the information you need from just a Google Search? Ah, I know!

The Internet world demands a loud and clear voice when it comes to communicating your talent.

It’s so useless in the current era because everyone here is talking so much, leaving no room for calmness. To not speak too much about the scenario and get going with the process with our trials is far better than one can imagine.

Let me give you an example of this:

My LinkedIn is filled with hiring satires and corporate jokes lately, which I’m enjoying a lot as well as commenting on my bad experiences in the comments. Cutting out the fluff, these comments, posts, satires and jokes will not land any job for anyone. They reach out to more and more similar mindset people and the connections get increased. That is all (inner satisfaction).

To get clients/jobs or to get your work done, you have to showcase your work and not let your frustration speak louder in this process. It’s not wrong, but it’s unnecessary. So much of your valuable time is going into these 'comforting' things and no one will get the benefit of this.

Dreaming is Free but Achieving it Costs Time

Any social media platform can be used for good and insightful information because people are dying to get useful information on the internet. They say, “Google is the ultimate source of information" which is absolutely true. But searching for every little thing there seems impossible and too many articles on the same topic will leave the person in confusion.

That is why people search social media to know their favourite creators' experiences in specific situations. Real-time experiences are way more valuable than listicles. You will know that it’s real while reading itself. Applying it to your path is secondary. Knowing what has happened in some creator’s life and how they handled it and succeeded gives an encouraging perspective to the person who is willing to go on that path.

There are a lot of posts I see every day saying, search LinkedIn for this/search Twitter for this/search Quora for this. It is impossible to get all the valuable information in one single platform as the rest all should survive. Is there a possibility to get maximum valuable information in one platform?

Yes, it is! When you consume content from the writers who only post value-added content.

Writers know the value of time. They don’t just fluff with unnecessary content. They do post shit sometimes to let their writers block out ;) but they don’t want their readers to read it genuinely. They just do it on the internet to let that ‘pause' out and flow with a wonderful story again.

How to Consume Value-added Content?

It’s definitely not rocket science. People are achieving rocket science too, so nothing is impossible. Take out the 'everything is useless' feeling and search for what you need.

Yes, I’m gonna list them out so that you can remember them and follow them (if you feel they are sensible)

  • Choose one platform which you like using daily and make sure it has some value-added information apart from Google.
  • If it’s Twitter/Instagram/LinkedIn, hit the bell icon to the creators whom you feel are insightful content and only read them.
  • Switch off the Evey damn notification that you get from the app and on the ones you need.
  • Write your thoughts after reading your favourite creator’s story. Write by thinking that people should read you and shouldn’t feel it’s a waste of time.
  • With the abundance of information out there everywhere no one’s ready to read it all unless and until it has something to know or learn.
  • Viral content is out of context in this scenario because they are just one-time appreciable and not that beneficial.
  • Don’t get confused reading all the stuff on social media. Your focus should dominate the trash that’s coming your way.
  • Only your focus and determination will save you from the scrap that’s been published on social media every single minute.
  • Why do you think apps get hung once in a while only because of this useless content that’s been published every minute? That’s why Instagram has come up with some rules to cut off the fluff on the platform, which is good.
  • Similarly, you should set some rules while consuming content on social media. Set it for your goals. Set it for your process. Take it slow. But take it right every freaking time. It’s high time to do experiments on content consumption.
  • Know what you need right away and start investing your time in that. Either by subscribing to their newsletters or by following them or by hitting the bell icon and reading them. Choose one method and get going.
